Types Of Hair Loss

Androgenetic Alopecia also known as pattern hair loss. This type of hair loss can cause diffuse thinning around the crown usually without a receding hairline.

Telogen Effluvium can be caused by stress, illnesses, surgery, childbirth, nutrient deficiency, and medications. This often begins 2-3 months after triggering event and is usually temporary in certain cases. 

Alopecia Areata caused by immune system attacking hair follicles. It presents itself in sudden, round bald patches on the scalp or body.
 
Alopecia Totalis (entire scalp baldness)

Traction Alopecia is caused by repeated pulling or tension on hair.

Anagen Effluvium is the sudden hair loss during the growth phase often caused by Chemotherapy, radiation, toxins, and therapy.
 
Cicatricial Alopecia is permanent hair loss due to inflammation destroying hair follicles. It can be caused by infections, burns, autoimmune diseases, and injuries.
